The closest airport is SeaTac, south of Seattle. It is about 2-3 hours from airport to the Monastery. Please plan to coordinate your own transportation to and from the monastery. Taxi service exists for the short drive from the shuttle station to the monastery gate.

MAP & DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Seattle, take the ferry from Mukilteo to Clinton. Ferries run every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour. Drive west on Highway SR 525 about 8 miles, past the stoplight at Bayview, and turn left onto Useless Bay Road. Useless Bay Road becomes Millman Road. Stay on Millman and cross Double Bluff Road. At this point Millman Road is renamed Lancaster Road. About 2 miles beyond the Double Bluff/Lancaster intersection, turn left onto Wahl Road. Enso House is on your left about ¾ mile down the road, and the Tahoma One Drop Zen Monastery entrance is about ¼ mile further on the left.
From Whidbey Island North, 25 minutes south of Coupeville you’ll enter town of Freeland on HWY 525; at only stop light in town there’s a Shell station on right; turn right there onto Fish Road,
Left onto Woodard, Left on Lancaster and immediate right on Wahl Rd to 6499 Wahl. (only about 5 minutes from highway to Monastery)

Light Rail direct from airport to Westlake stop, downtown Seattle. Go above ground. Take downtown bus to Mukilteo ferry terminal. There are several options; transfer in Lynwood. Walk on Ferry. Island Transit bus to Freeland. Taxi to Tahoma.
Total trip can take up to 4 hours, and cost approx. $20-$40

Light Rail from SeaTac Airport to International District stop. [Go up the escalator. At the top, look between buildings for a sign pointing to AMTRAK. Cross between buildings. You will see the crosswalk. Take the elevator down elevator to the train station.] SounderTrain from King St. [Amtrak] Station to Mukilteo Ferry Terminal. Walk on Ferry. Bus to Freeland Taxi to Tahoma.
